Visiting Scotland, staying at Loch Lomond, for a holiday from Manchester, England. Asked Chat GPT for the best chippy in Helensburgh and Ginos was recommended. We are so pleased we went with the reviews. The fish was so white and so tasty, the chips were first class. We ordered on the app for 10 percent off and the shop assistant was fine with this and took the order anyway to speed up the cooking which was clearly from fresh. I would definitely recommend.

Disappointed in dinner tonight. Chips were not fresh and fish was tasteless and dry/burnt .

I was tired after a long day at work and was planning to get chippy on the way home. As I sat in the car before leaving Dumbarton I thought I’d look at the menus for chip shops in Helensburgh. I fancied fish and I knew I enjoyed a purchase from you before. I also had two orders for king rib suppers so I checked if you did that. Thankfully you did so I placed an order on line before driving home. A bonus was 10% off an online order. I arranged a delivery time for a time I knew I’d be home by and the timing was perfect. I really enjoyed my dinner and so did my house mates. Thank you. I will definitely use this service again.

Very easy to order. Was really tasty and piping hot. Delivery driver really courteous and was ready sooner than expected. Highly recommend.

My fish (in breadcrumbs) & chips were amazing, lovely haddock in crispy breadcrumbs which I specifically asked for. My sister ordered a sausage supper (two sausages in batter), also very tasty with plenty of chips. We shared a pot of curry sauce, lovely too. Very happy, will use again & highly recommend to others.

The chicken in batter was very disappointing. It was quite grey in colour and had a stringy in texture, basically it was either very poor quality or old chicken and it went in the bin. Chips wee lovely however the curry sauce was watery. Bit of a miss tonight sorry.
